Replacment or Metal Slides for WA Hybrid Pistols?

    Morning,

Have not been posting lately as things have been hectic for me.

Christmas Day I was cleaning my Western Arms SV Infinity 6.0 Highbrid and the slide
fell off the table and a bit of it cracked and broke off!!!!!!!!
You cant imagine how disgusted I felt as it was my most expensive pistol and
    my pride and joy.

The bit that broke off I superglued back on but I dont trust it to stand up to any
wear and tear. The damaged bit was at the back of the slide near the notch where
    the safety switch engages.

I've searched High and Low but cannot find any place that sell's a metal slide or even a replacement plastic slide. I do know there are Metal Slides and Barrel Kits that
sell for crazy money for the standard models of this pistol but I've got the special
slide and barrel where the barrel has a ridge on it and the slide has been specially cut.
Also its 6.0 model and the standard models are shorter slides.

Anyone know if such a slide (Metal) exists ? or where I can buy.
Ehobby sell some but dont have what I need and there is a custom pistol store
in England that make slides but way to expensive and also dont have what I need.
Have some pics below of the slide so peeps will know what I mean.

Uncompany do have some Infinity slides, have you tried WGC or Dentrinity?

cheers I forgot about UNcompany as their site is sooo slow while surfing it
and it was one of the first shops I ever used.

They have the slide in Metal but out of stock. But at least I know they actually
exist now! :-) 100 USD is steep for 1 slide without any sights etc.

Be nice if some of the Irish stores got in some WA pistols from the one I got
they are the business and are almost flawless in build quality/finish etc.

100usd is about average for a slide for that kind of pistol. Custom parts are a silly price for high end pistols.
Den trinity have a Shooters design metal slide on there for 110usd and a quite a few but are mostly out of stock.
I cant link it but if you stick "Shooters Design SV Infinity 6.0 Metal Slide" into their search engine you'l find it.

    wher exactly is damaged?
    is it this piece?
is the slide plastic or metal?

if its plastic a good super glue done correctly & patiently will do if it is that piece.
if its a metal slide theres stuff you can get called quick steel that is very useful, especially if youre anyway competent with a dremmel or small files & sand paper.

another option would be the sales section in arnies theres always loads of parts like these cropping up from time to time.

you hit the nail bang on the head there. Thats exactly the bit
that broke off. (ABS/Plastic part at circle) Yeah its superglued on with a nice tight fit
and even if it was broken off it would not impact the
actual function of the slide.........its just I do not want
to have something damaged at all on such a nice piece.
(not that it sees any action as Im a back yard plinker)

Also Im a full metal pistol lover....when I initially ordered this
pistol I was Drunk and was acting on impuse and failed to read the fine print and ordered it thinking it had a metal slide
after it was posted I was reading reviews and realised the description was full metal lower (but not slide).
ordering an after market slide would be adding perfection
to this beauty of a pistol.
