    Hi guys,

Got told today at work that we've to take a week unpaid leave on 16th Feb... only a few weeks away now.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a place to go in Europe for that time? Hopefully dirt cheap and I'll most likely be going alone so somewhere interesting too.

    Cheers!

You really need to tell us where your starting off from and is it city, sun, or snow your looking for. An indication of a budget would help too.

Give a little info and you might find responses which are suitable.

If you're not fussy as to the destination you could wait until about a week before departure and pick up something last minute on the cheap.

Check out some of the last minute offers the travel agents are offering at the moment which should give you some indication of how cheap you can go.

why not the algarve in portugal and albufeira in particular. it will be warmish, ryanair fly there for next to nothing from shannon and dublin (to faro), 4 star apartment hotels are less than 30euro a night in albufeira in february through www.otel.com
