If you've been "told", surely it was by a doctor who would have also given you full information or referred you on to a specialist who did?

Unless by "told" you meant you Googled symptoms?

Either way, step away from the internet and into the office of your local doctor.

Your doctor would be the best person to ask about this as she/he will have the requisite training or knowledge. Not possibly ill informed web types. So ask your GP, that's your best bet.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
