    They'll still employ 1,100 people in Limerick and what, another 900 in Bray even after these job losses.

    That's what I was thinking. If so it's pretty stupid as they are still employing 1,000 people. I'm saying this as someone who was laid off by Apple when they outsourced PCB - was front page news, RTE tried to interview me coming out of work - and I still bought their products later on.

    Alienware out of Athlone iirc. They're part of Dell too so there's a few more Irish Dell jobs that aren't affected by this decision.
