I currently earn around €33k and work in the Public Service so job security shouldn't be an issue but any mortgage through a bank might amount to only €150k. Would my situation be enough to 'explain my need' for the shared ownership scheme, as asked on the application form?

I'd be interested to know if anybody found/finds themselves in the same boat
