Help Newbie - Portable Media player

    Hi,

I'm looking to get a portable media player that I can transfer movies from pc to (mainly divx format), and store music on, and watch movies on any tv in the house or in a hotel if we're lucky enough to get away.

I was looking at the dane-elect so road movie on 7dayshop, but then realised that I'd get a vat bill, so am looking for alternatives in the eu. The 320gb one would work out at €150 (with vat). I don't know if this is good or not.

Portable is an issue - also, would like future compatibility, i.e. don't want to have to buy another one in a year.

Thanks for any guidance and help.

Zen Vision M is great but only 30gb

Can't see any output to connect to a tv though - or can it and i'm just blind...

30gb, although small, would still hold enough movies for me ...

Zen vision M needs a special cable (read more money -20-30 euro if I remember correctly).
Cable connects to the recharge dongle, and then gives you the three leads into the back of the television(rca I think It's called).
It works well for me, and for the kids, especially on holiday.
