This is my scenario, i would appreciate any advice

We have sky in our family home. My brother has now emigrated to the channel islands. The apartment he is renting is sky-ready (for want of a better word) - there is a dish there.

If we ordered a multiroom subscription for our home so that we got an extra digibox and viewing card than gave that box to my brother to take to the channel islands and hook it up, would he recieve the same viewing (ie RTE, TV3 and subscription channels) as per our home subscription??

Multiroom needs both boxes to be connected to the same phoneline so you would end up paying full price for both subscriptions.

you just take out a second sky sub to your irish address, say its flat b, a card will be sent to that address, post it to your brother, he rings up, witholds his no, gets card paired and bobs your uncle, he can pay by dd etc.

    gb--

Oh yes, there's no hassle with that.
