Speed Camera On the Dublin Quays - Guinness Entrance

For the last 2 days (at least), there has been a speed camera close to the entrance to Guinness site on the south Dublin Quays around 7pm in the evening- as if waiting 1 hour to get through Pearse st is not enough stress!
    Question:
What is the speed limit for the south quays- I know that there were plans announced last year to reduce the speed limit in city centre Dublin to 30KPH (that's Kilometres not miles btw!!!) I think its currently 50KPH but would like a definitive if possible.

I had a look here but not clear does 'bordered by' mean that those roads are also included or not in the list of streets.

I remember getting pulled in for speeding there about ten years ago when it was a 30 mph limit so I reckon it's a 50 km/h limit.

That spot is 50km/h. However, I suspect some people see a wide road and suddenly get a heavy foot, only to have to come to an almost complete stop at Heuston Station.

Slamming into a truck exiting Guinness might not be a good idea either.

If only because of the inevitable failing of the breath test after you've had a few thousand litres of stout poured down you :P

Check out your find on www.irishspeedtraps.com, it is most likely listed there. If not ...

I was caught by a Gatso there a few years back. I think it was 42 mph in a 30 zone. Always careful along there since.
