    Hi guys,

I'm a regular reader of www.thefoodpornographer.com and I'd love to get a bento box for bringing lunches to work. They look so handy with their different compartments.

Does anyone know where they can be bought in Dublin, or is somewhere on the internet the best place?

    thanks in advance

    Taco

You could pop into Yamamori on Georges St and ask them where they get theirs?

They sell them in Muji if that's any help?

I picked up some there when i was in London last.

Oh, also, worth checking out this site for ideas - http://justbento.com/

Japan Centre in London sells some and you can buy online.
You can also get those dressing bottles etc.

I have something of a bento box fetish. I've bought mine directly from Japan off ebay. You might also want to check out laptoplunches.com/from where I'm hoping I will make my next packed-lunch purchase. Have fun!

Ooh which ones do you have neuro-praxis? Those laptop ones look nice but I'm really tempted to get a nice colourful one

tac, sorry this took so long, I was rooting out some old photos of one of my bentos from my blog. It's a pink and black butterfly style one, and I bought some Hello Kitty dressing/dip containers to match.

I have another very similar to the butterfly one, but it's a Snoopy style, and is pale blue, and came with cutlery to match.

Then I have another one that is much more grown up that my friend in Japan sent me, which I will need to take a photo of for you, as I can't find it online. It's made up of simple round stacked containers in a cool bag, with chopsticks to match.

If you're still looking for a bento box in Dublin, I found one in Paperchase in Arnotts the other day for €8.

ebay is your best bet, they are expensive but the amount you save in not buying lunch is worth it.

They have a list on the following site of places to buy - http://justbento.com/shop, very nice recipes and ideas on that site as well.
