Any good ranges in and around Dublin/Meath/Cavan area? Was lookin to improve my shot a bit. Only ever been shooting with the brother, I'm told he's a good shot and I'm better than him so I'd love to give it a go at the range.

There's a whole load of ranges within reach of you. Here's a map of the ones I know the location of.

If you have any particular type of shooting in mind, let us know and we may be able to recommend a particularly suitable one.

Midlands is the only place catering to those distances really. Frankly, my advice is learn to shoot seriously before spending the money on a lot of expensive kit firing expensive ammo. A good .22 is your best learning tool, then you can progress to bigger calibres and distances.
