Yeap, the preorders are starting to appear with preorder bonususususus.

A total of six wargear sets which you get one of when you preorder with a pictuliar retailer, although the germans get two from amazon :(

There's a list on the relicnews forum

The wargear packs include slightly better weapons, parictuliar chapter colour schemes (Angels of Redemption, Brazen Claws, etc) and some extra armour colours. The weapons will only be used in the single player campaign so no multiplayer advantage with them.

The packs for european retailers are still being finalised so some have the details up and some don't, like play.com have the Vanguard wargear.

Most important of all.... the release date! :) 27/02/09 54 days to go.

I see steam has it up for pre-order now. 50 euro! While play have it for 30 I'm sure shops around Dublin won't be quiet as low as play but still....

So it's down to waiting two weeks for play to deliver or saving ten to twenty Euro.... Decisions.

Don't forget the pre-order single player only extra's.... that become obsolete as you find better wargear.... and an extra chapter skin. Actually the only thing I think that might be worth it from the pre-order packs is the extra colours you get with them for the army painter.

meh. Only reason I preordered on steam is

    1) I am impatient

    2) I wanted access to the beta early without buying Soulstorm which is pants

    3) I'm too impatient to wait for play to deliver.

The wargear is fluff I honestly couldn't care less about.

In terms of the extra skins for army painter, a guy no the Dow2 boards Or Relicnews (can't remember which) found a way to create your very own skins and chapters pretty much and also posted a walkthrough for it.

For the beta? I was wondering about that, I've seen some players with custom colours and chapter logos.

Aye for the beta. They're the same quality as the standard ones too, once you know how to mess with the files that is.
