Getting the Flu Jab after having had the flu...

Is there any point in doing this? I'm just recovering from a very nasty dose, finished antibiotics a few days ago to clear out the infection in my lungs.

Given that people get various forms of the flu/chest infections/whatever you want to call them, all the way up to March/April, is there any point in me getting the vaccine this late in the day? just in case there's another dose flying around the office?
