MMA Events Calendar 2009 - No chat

Okay guys, this was an idea presented by another poster. It's going to be like an MMA calendar just showing what events are on the way. There is no discrimination of events, ie - if it's a local Irish show then post it. It doesn't have to be UFC. But don't take the p1ss and start posting the local Arizona MMA league events....unless a poster or Irish person is involved.

It's simple really - just post event names (local and mainstream), a brief description of the event, the card if available and the date and time.

This is to keep all the 2009 events together in one calendar for easy reference. When the event comes along then we create another thread for discussion, same way it has been.

Any chat posts will be deleted and served with a yellow card. Only post if you have an event to inform us of.

Ultimate Fighting returns to Galway with the fourth instalment of the Tribal Warfare promotion. The event takes place on the 28th of March in the Black Box Theatre. The event features the top MMA talent in the country with Galway taking on the rest of Ireland in 14 full rules matches.

Tickets available from the Town Hall Theatre and Point Blank Gym. Fully licensed bar available at the event. Doors Open 6pm, first fight 7pm

All weight division titles will be fought for,the weight divisions are the same as the professional events,differance being a same day weigh in

All matches are 3x3 minute rounds,shin pads and the heavier mma style sparring gloves are mandatory,this is an amateur event and a very relaxed day with an appreciative and knowledgable audience
