heating system in the house is quite old, most of a few of the radiators to need bleeding the odd time, and do heat up bar one (the one in my room), have attempted to bleed it several times, but still only the first few inches at the base heat up, attempted to bleed it again today, opened the valve on the side fully to allow extra water in, and could hear it trickling through, opened the valve cap on the side and there was air hissing out for a few seconds, but thats it, had it open for a few minutes, no more air and no water coming out, still only the first few inches heating up

    any more ideas, adv, tips

    yours frezzing

Look through recent posts - you need to get water into the system - either from the header tank in the attic, or if you don't have one, a valve that is probably located in the hotpress.
