Say you want to go away tomorrow and are'nt fussy about where u go , do ryanair and aer lingus sell seats cheap or at least at a regular rate? Do you have to ring them up or something if it's too late to book online?

Last minute flights with budget carriers are certainly the most expensive, thats how their model works.

Last minute flights with non budget carriers in this day and age are almost also certain to be the most expensive.

Last minute cheap flights do not/rarely exist anymore.

Yeah but there are many empty seats on planes leaving Dublin every day, if flights are close to full they can afford to charge high fares for them but if flight is only 80% full they should be happy to take whatever fare they can get on the day of the flight.

Its a sweet logic but thats just not the way it works, if that was the case everyone would just wait until the last minute.
