    Hi

Sorry for the newbie question but I couldn't find an answer.

I currently have Sky and am thinking of ditching it soon and getting Freesat instead.

Can I use my existing Sky box or do I need a Freesat receiver ?
Will my dish need to be repositioned ?

    Thanks
    Vic

you can keep the existing skybox without the subscription and still get the "free" channels such as bbc,itv and lots others (if you have a sky+ or skyHD box though you wont be able to record stuff anymore). Or you can always get a freesat satellite box which would give you the same channels but with the freesat EPG (HD version would also get you bbcHD/ITVHD)

Nothing needs to be done with the dish. Have a search around here lots of more info around on choice of channels etc and the differences on the freesat boxes.
