Stag in Eurpoe-looking for an 'event'

Hi,
Stag in Eurpoe in March/April or May in Eurpoe.
I'm wondering what festivals are on around Eurpoe- like the La Tomatina Tomato Fight in Bunyol, Pamplona Bull Running etc.

Grand national festival in Liverpool in April or Cheltenham in March if you like horse racing or just a big piss up. Dont know of many festivals in mainland Europe around that time. We are planning to do the octoberfest in germany in autumn for mates stag.

Tomatina is a great idea, but it's in August I think. It's very accessible - I recommend staying in Valencia and just getting the train (they put on special trains - you might not get seats or luxury but when you're covered in tomotoes on the way home it doesn't matter!)

Now that I've mentioned Valencia, it has a festival called Las Fallas, happens in March. I recommend to go at the end of the week rather than the start - they basically set off a lot of fireworks, and set fire to huge papier mache sculptures!

There's also the Bennicassim festival in Spain but it's not until July. http://benicassimfestival.co.uk/
