You will have to convert the youtube clip to a format the ipod supports, unless the file you have downloaded from youtube is already in the .mp4 container?

Is it possible to save a youtube clip to your desktop, and how?

if you use firefox there are plenty of plugins for getting youtube vids otherwise you could use one of the sites below to save the vids you want:

    http://www.videodownloadx.com/
    http://vixy.net/
    http://keepvid.com/

I'd go for one of the first 2 if I were you, they give you the option to convert the vid for ipod so that's a plus...but the 2nd site frequently stops working...it's great when it does work though!

Method 1 on the list here might be the easiest way of doing the deed.
