As all Irish people know, the 80's in this country were quite bleak and sh'it. So I'm just wondering, which year of the 1980's was the worst in terms of the economy/ recession/ bleakness and which was the best year? I didnt exist in the 80's, unless your talking about the component atoms which now make up my body and are assigning the entity of a "self" to the combination that exists within me right now.

    Or now.

    Or even.......NOW!!!!

Everyone say the 80's was a terrible decade, i was 12 when the 80's ended, so they were fairly good times for me.

Was born at the start of 1980 so I saw the whole thing through. Didn't give a sh1t about the recession though. There was more important things to be concerned with like Mask, Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers as well as that girl down the street that gave me a funny feeling in my pants.

You were born in the year 89....so that makes you like 1,920 years old?

1987 is the best, but not just cause I was born then.

1989 was a pale pale imitation of 1889 in my book.
(Yes I have a book of pale year imitations - what of it?)
