yeah although i'm not a messenger and may fall into the fakenger category although not by design more accident really, i wanted to try the fixie set up, then i bought a messenger bag it fits an A3 sketch pad and all my arty stuff and then i started to kind of dress like one more for function cos fashionable i aint, in the general sense of the word anyway, alternatively yes,
ok so how do the dublin alleycats usually work are they a check points up front like 30 mins before or do you get the next check point when you get to checkpoint no.1 and so on.

It really doesnt matter to anyone about the whole fakenger thing... I probably am one by description also but feck it.
The races vary in types, my first was a checkpoint race or pick ups and drop offs, there was two manifiests a and b, we had to lye all of out bikes down behind the start line and they put the manifest in the spokes.
The race started and we ran up to our bikes and tryed to sort out where to go. We had to do six pick ups and drop offs in this particular race.
Others vary but the starting remains mostly the same in all.
