Windows 2000 & IPod Shuffle

My nephew had asked me to add some music to his Ipod Shuffle. I have connected the IPod Shuffle to my computer and can browse it's contents. I have also added some mp3 files from some of the CDs he brought over. However, when we try to play any of the new songs the IPod Shuffle just flashes orange and green.

As I'm not an IPod Shuffle user I haven't a clue why it's not working.
    Any ideas guys?

Hi, you need to use iTunes to put music on any apple iPods. With windows 2000 you will need iTunes 7.3 as the newest versions will not work.

You can get it here on filehippo:
