Singer Wanted - Band demos available!!!

Hi guys,

My friends band "Crescendo Rising" have recently lost their singer due to academic reasons (he went to Spain to study a masters). Anyways, they are really good with great potential, so I told me friend (the drummer in the band) that I would help them to find a singer.

Heres the skinny:

Band Details:
Genre: Hard-Rock, Rock, Alternative
Location: Dublin, rehearse in Dublin city center.
Sounds Like: Hmm....hard to exactly pinpoint them exactly, but I think that they sound kinda like a mix between Incubus, Muse, Radiohead, Audioslave, Alter Bridge...sorta around that area. They have quite a diverse selection of songs so as I said its hard to pidgeon hole this band.

Band Experience: Playing together 4 years. They got to the final of the Scamergenza (Emergenza....but its a scam!) battle of the bands final in 2007 and got to play Vicar Street. They recorded an EP and its in Tower Records (still I think) over the summer. They got shafted by the sound engineer who was **** so the quality isnt the best, but the songs are good and the commitment and work ethic is there. I think they only released it as a "Last ditch" effort with their old singer. Great hard working band with good live experience. The band members are all around 22 years old and from Dublin. Individually, the band members have alot of experience writing together and have built up a great song writing rapour and chemistry together. This is a great opportunity for any singer / singer-songwriter who want a band to join.(NOTE: the band are NOT interested in becoming a backing band FOR a singer-songwriter...sorry!)

What they want: (Now this has been relayed to me so Im just going to put it here as I was told):
Primarily the only thing you need is a great voice, commitment, and a willingness to have a laugh with the lads. Previous band experience is not essential. If you play guitar or any other instrument its a plus sure, but again not essential. A demo of your singing (recording quality doesnt have to be great, just good enough to hear the quality of your voice) would be preferrable or a myspace link of previous work or something. Again, this is not completely essential but it would be preferred and it would save time for eveybody involved. No time wasters please. For serious musicians only!

Ive also been asked to add the following point:
If anyone DOES like the songs on the links above, and would like to give it a shot, please note that they are 100% free to COMPLETELY change the songs vocals and/or lyrics if they want to write something new to them. The songs were written and recorded with their old singer and are for reference sake only. If you DO like the songs current vocals though you can learn them for yourslf or whatever. Again, the guys in the band are VERY open to new interpretations and new singer ideas, so dont feel constricted to old versions of the songs.

Anyways, Ive done my part for my friend. These guys are a great band IMHO, and if I could sing I would give it a shot myself!

I listened to the myspace and I love the tracks. I am an experienced singer but havent had the opportunity to sing with a really good band until now.
