Do you know where the tennis courts are and the skateboarding ramps are. There's a little building beside it and that's where they are. I know a few runners in there and I would recommend them from the feedback I've heard.

Cheers for that. I am going to go up there tonight and go out for a run with them.

How did you get on greenplain? I'm living near Terenure and have often thought about joining the club but as of yet have done nothing about it.

So I went up last night and I was really impressed with it. I have been running for years by myself and thought it being the new year I would join a club.

Got up there at seven and was met by one of the lads in charge of the club. He said I was welcome to train and so I did. The good thing is there is runners of all abilities.

Trained for about an hour and twenty minutes, it was a good session too. Heading back there again on Thursday night.

Membership for the year is eighty quid which seems pretty good as they have a nice club house with changing rooms and hot showers. Also they have some gym equipment.

Hey Greenplain, who do I contact as I'm interested in joining up too?
Also do they cover all paces in training ?
    I'd be a 50-55min 10k - 25min 5k etc.

I just turned up on Tuesday and there was coaches there and they just said "join in" and they said if i like the training i can join up. They have all ranges of runners so you would fit in no problem. I am heading up there again tonight. Training begins at 7

Think i might join you aswell on Thursday.

Been running for a few years around that area on my own just to stay fit, nothing more that 5k.

Recently however i enterd a couple of races and really enjoyed them and now have started to increase my distance to complete a marathon so would be nice to have some company, especially on longer runs.

Occasionally i have run in the past with my brother and we may not say two words to each other but it's still a nice feeling to have someone beside you, although I find running on its own does have it's own benefits also.
