Panasonic UK Box Switching Off

    Hi Folks,

    My Panasonic box is powering off (red light on)after a number of hours..
    Any ideas what is causing this and is it worth repairing same?

    Overheating perhaps? Have you anything on top of it or to the sides blocking off ventilation?

    Turn off auto-standby in the services menu. This is a new energy-saving feature from Sky.

    Went into services menu but unable to locate auto standby.
    Is there another code that I require, I think I saw a code somewhere else but cannot recall same.
    All help greatly appreciated.

    It should be option 5 in the services menu.

    Folks,
    Thanks for the replies.
    Its not a Sky+ box that I have. This is my standard UK box. In services I have just 6 options. 1 is Using your sky digibox etc & 5 is favourite channels!!!!

    The option should be there in standard Sky boxes too. If it isn't, then you mustn't have the latest software. In which case, I don't know why your box is switching to standby. Overheating, perhaps?
