    hi ... what happens if one breaks their screen ? ... can it be repaired ?

    Anything can be repaired - at a cost.

    Contact your local Camera repair centre for a quote.

    Wouldn't you just hate that. Brand new, expensive camera, and you go and break the screen.

    I'm sure it'll only cost €200-300 to repair.

    Ha! It's just the lol-factor, moreso than malicious. And yep, I'd be absolutely raging if it happened, so I can sympathise. :D

    My last Body, the D300, came with a 3 year accidental damage cover from Jessops.

    The price at the time was about the same other suppliers, other than non-EU places where the VAT would have be an issue.

    Pity it doesn't cover the lens.
