Sky+ recording

I'm thinking of switching from NTL to Sky+.
I understand that it is possible to record two different programs at the same time with the Sky+ box. While the system is recording those two different programs, is it possible to watch a different program other than the ones being recorded?

    Any ideas?

You can record two programs but must be watching one of them. It is not possible to record two and watch a third.

Nope, not as far as I know.

The Sky+ box has two receivers/tuners/wotevas which can be used to receive two different channels at a time. You can watch one and record the other or presumably record both at the same time but you can't then watch a 3rd since you only have two receivers/tuners/wotevas.

you can record two channels and watch something previously recorded so it's very handy
