Any window cleaners out there? I have been thinking about this for some time now, but I really am not sure where to start. What exactly is involved in starting a business? What should I be thinking about? I would love to work for myself but I have no experience in cleaning windows, I do know that there is a demand for a window cleaner in my area. It would be temporary for me. I am just not exactly sure where to start... Any help or advice appretiated.

It might not be the best econimic climate to start this business in. In light of essentials like mortgage, food, heat, esb etc and putting some aside for when times get even rainier window cleaning is bottom of my list.

When they need to be done I run a hose and soft brush on the bottom ones & same on the top with a bursh extender. not a good as a professional job but fee

Window cleaning.......far dues for showing some intiative.

The biggest hurdle is getting somebody to do business with you.

I think it's a good Idea, even if it starts small you can always branch out, carpet cleaning, power washing, DIY jobs.

If you have the time go for it, a few brochures, and some good peoples skills and it could take off.

From small acorns, can great oaks grow

P.s. Contact your local entriprise board they do start your own business courses for businesses just like this.

If there is a demand and you can close the deals just go for it! :)

I didnt plan any part of my business and it has progressed naturally based on real-time decisions so far :)
