Try the martial arts forum. I think you'll be struggling though. The closest I can think of is in Limerick.

Never heard of any in Tipp, you'll also get some BJJ in Waterford City and Tramore. I'm sure there are a few posters here who can give you the specific places and times if your interested (I don't have the exact details).

An old training buddy of mine, Anthony Broxan, is running a submission wrestling club in Carrick as far as I know, I know its not straight up BJJ (gi etc. ) but its an excellent alternative and Anthony has a solid coaching stlye. PM me if you want his details

i think there is a mixed martial arts club training in one of the villages around clonmel. im open to correction but after speaking recently to one of the lads who attends both that and the muay thai club i couldve sworn he told me they did bjj (that said i had many beers in me the same night). think its in ballingarry or somewhere like that. some of the guys here might know more about it than i do

Waterford MMA has a BJJ timetable and has just moved to a brnad new gym, it might be a bit of a trek from where you live but you will get some great training. Richie Bolger, the coach, is a purple belt under Saulo Ribeiro also a couple of blue belts and a crew of white belts train regularly. Times at the moment are Monday&Wednesday 7.30 to 8.45 Tuesday&Thursday 6.00 to 7.45 and open mat Saturday 10-12. Let me know if you need any more info or check out Waterford MMA or Ganbaru Jiu Jitsu Academy's facebook!
