    Hi guys

I'm thinking of making a trip North to get a new tv.....will a 40" LCD fit in the back of a saloon Passat.

Better find out now rather than being stuck.

Well if you mean putting the seats down and then putting it in the back.....i'm fairly sure it will. I bought a 37" LCD a few weeks ago, and put the seats down in my car (honda integra so would be smaller than the passat) and it fit no problem, without taking the packaging off or anything

I bought a 40" tv and it fitted into the back of my opel astra no bother. No need to let the seats down or anything

me and a mate managed to fit a 42" in a corolla so a passat should be no bothers aslong as you have the split back seats (which i think were standerd)

if you mean to transport, i've had a 37" in the boot of my starlet so you'll be fine.

if you mean actually fitted, as in so you can watch movies while you drive, i think you'll need to ask xzibit.
