Having saw Orizio's recommendation for this girl in the best Albums thread, I bought her album last night.

Its class I love it, so chilled .

    +1.

My girlfriend got it for me ages ago, but I never got 'round to it until recently. Tap at my Window is gorgeous.

Yeah she's really good & its top album as well!

Saw her play electric picnic on the body & soul stage and she was quality. I also loved her work with noah and the whale for their album.

She's amazing! Saw her at EP but she was a bit crap.. She apologised immensely, it was because she was sick and there was some technical issue, but she seems like a lovely person!
Night terror is amazing, and My Manic and I!

Just noticed that, really? The sound was ****e and her timing was pretty off! At least she acknowledged it and apologised, I'll definitely be giving her another chance live anyway :)

I first heard her on the Mystery Jets track, Young Love and then on a BBC 6 Music George Lamb session - beautiful voice.

Haha I'm in pretty much the same boat! Just after I posted that I had to text my friend to ask if I was right in saying that... Definitely still enjoyed her :)

Anyway elec picnic aside, just have mtv2 on in the background and it has its "incredible super-duper top 50 best albums ever of 2008" list on now with our Laura Marling coming in at 15 beaten apparently by the Kaiser Chiefs...thats right the Kaiser Chiefs!!!

I think that says all that needs to be said about mtv2!
