Haven't bothered examining the pix extensively to be sure but I'm fairly positive the quiz alphabetically based. ie the first pix is a movie begining with a 2nd b , 25th y 26th z etc. There's 26 pixs too so it would seem to make sense

I don't think X is anything at all, maybe just a clue to the pattern.

It's definitely not the X font they use in Malcolm X or X-men.

Is that Pauly Shore in 16?

It should start with a P. The only Pauly Shore films starting with P don't match up though.

That looks like Jeremy Piven to me and I think the film looks like PCU, which would fit in with the alphabet thingy (although Piven seems too old in the picture, but it's the guy in the background who definitely looks right for the film)

The alphabet thingy would suggest that film 24 begins with the letter X.

There is a film called X, it's a manga type thingy, there was also an earlier Roger Corman one with the same name.
