Anyone have a general idea of the price for a key and fob for the Hyundai Coupe 05 model. I know the key will depend on the chassis number (don't have atm) but does anyone know around about what price for both?

    Thanks.

I presume it has an immobiliser chip. It depends on the way the key is coded. I know Honda keys use a randomly assigned code each time you start the engine so you have to get a dealer to order you one for about €220. Call your local main dealer

Yeah i would say that is about right. I was quoted €235 for the new fob and re-programming

I need to get a replacement key and the fob re-programmed for an 06 Hyundai Coupe.

Was quoted €450 for both by dealer.

Is there any cheaper or other way of getting these yourself and then getting someone else, apart from a dealer, to do the programming?

    Thanks,

    techman.

    Not really.

Did see one fob for a Coupe. Have emailed the seller.

The rest are all key rings.

Anyone buy the fob themselves and then get it programmed?

Or it may be the fob I have just needs to be re-programmed as it has stopped working.
