    Hi there,

I have a couple of questions regarding the new system for access to undergraduate medicine. I recently graduated from college and am considering switching careers to medicine. I sat the LC in 2004 and obtained a respectable 555. Can I combine this with hpat from this year??

Gradmed isnt an option im afraid, unless I go to England as I got 2.2.

What have people heard about this test? It is reputedly "grind proof", but as always certain schools are offering prep courses, for the right fee of course!

It will never be easy to get accepted to such a highly subscribed course. I can only sympathize with this years LCers, who are being made jump through hoops, when it is clear that funding is what our universities need, not more exotic selection processes.
