Texting

Hey Guys,

I like a girl that I work with and have recently started texting her. So far they are just general chat messages, talking bout what the other person is doing, whats on tv and work etc. We have discovered that we have lots in common. Anyway, we've been texting almost every day, including all day Christmas Day. Sometimes we might send 20 - 30 texts in a day and could be texting until bedtime. I've been very careful with what I've been saying because we work together. My question is.. In your experience, would it be normal to text a workmate this much that u didnt fancy?? I'd like something to happen but afraid it might be just friendly banter. I'd appreciate a female perspective too. Thanks in advance!

sounds good... let her know you fancy her, over a drink not by text, just ask her out!!

i'd say if you stay behind the texts much longer you might fall into the friend zone, but at this stage what have you got to lose?!?

definitly go for it. maybe try a sligthly flirtly text to test the water if you wanted. but 20-30 texts a day means shes interested!!

;)I was the girl in this situation a year ago... A guy i'd bn workin with 4 10months started txtn me and I was only delighted since I had fancied him from day one..... We wud txt every evening for hours until one evening he asked me 2 join him at the cinema and a dinner afterwards.... We had the most amazing tym and we're nearly a year together now....

Go for it if she didnt like u she wudnt spend all that time on u!!!

Thanks for your replys guys, We were chatting again today, and there are a couple of us going out tomorrow night and she is coming along. Hopefully I will be able to get a better idea then. I do think that its a good sign that she has agreed to come out midweek even though its not just the 2 of us! Fingers crossed because I actually really like her!! :rolleyes:

In my opinion someone sending that many texts in a day is defo interested in more than just a friendship. See how ye get on during your night out.

It'd be so unusual that you can pretty much say that someone fancies someone and it runs both ways.
