Can I transfer from dvd to sd card

I got a dvd with ds Nintendo games, I have games on a dvd ,I have kingston micro adapter and usb connector that it fits into.My question do I just buy a micro sd card that will fit into the adapter then can I transfer from the dvd to the SD card.
