Looks like I'll be adding Diesel to my monthly Northern Ireland shopping list  If the EU abolish VRT then how would this work out for consumers who just paid tens of thousands in VRT???

"THE government has warned that it would have to introduce massive price increases on petrol of up to 36c per litre or raise taxation rates by 2% if plans by the EU to abolish car registration tax are implemented."
