Ok I wasn’t sure where to put this so feel free to move this mods???

I’m 27 and am currently in a career I have no love for nor have no inspiration. I fell into it (as I have done with previous jobs and a humanities course, but that’s a story for another day). I want to pursue a career closer to my heart and something that I find myself passionate about. One avenue I was considering exploring was that of film production and was hoping someone could tell me a bit more about where they are doing it and how they’re getting on with it. Is it worth doing? I want to do a bit more research before I just go and apply for this (or for that matter any other course). Could anyone please tell me a bit more about this. I would really appreciate help and advise on this.

I'm doing a film and TV course in GMIT Galway. It's a good course that you learn a lot from, and Galway is a good place to try and get a job in that industry as it has places like TG4, Ros na Run, Telegeal, Magma, Power Pictures, Abu Media...the list goes on.

I've sent you a PM detailing my experiences. Hope it helps!
