I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this problem i have.
my son was diagnosed with athsma 9 years ago and has been preety symptom free for a few years but this nov 24 he got a cold which set off the athsma(coughing athsma). his inhaler was flixotide 50mcg which was upped to 125 mcg as he is now 11. he was taking 750-1000mcg daily with his ventolin too. he was put on prednosol too. none of this seemed to help and when he was rushed to casualty his O2 sats were fine and he was sent home.
he is now on 750 flixotide and 200 serevent and the ventolin and its still not under control. HAS NOTHAD A FULL NIGHT UNBROKEN SLEEP SINCE NOV 24.

    ANY SUGGESTIONS
    thanks
P.S. when he was put on the serevent this week i was told to stop the flixotide totally, this is contra to the serevent instructions!!!???
