Hey all i was just wondering i was out golfing for the first time in about 2 months today (only play about 10-12 times a yr)in seafield in wexford and shot a 76. The game before that i shot a level par 65 on citywest lakes course(ok might not be a proper course to some i dont know) but anyways i was just wondering like should i join a club is this good scoring in context to decent players in your clubs im really not sure! My two playing partners seem to think i should join a club but i aint too sure, i play an awful lot of pitch and putt and am a -1 player at that but was thinking should golf be a first choice instead of my p+p. Any advice would be welcome.

    Hell yes!!!
With scores like that it'd be a shame to waste that talent..
    Well done man.
Dunno about Citywest Lakes course so can't comment but a 76 anywhere is well worth you taking it up full time.

you have to get down to a handicap of 4 before you can consider turning pro
