    what would you do?

I'd use some punctuation to make it a bit easier to understand.

Play on obviously....The woman will calm down eventually but you'll probably never have that chance on the golf course again...What do you play off?

went home:( it was something serious she had to go to only for that would have played on,probably will never see it again have a handicap of 18 which was my old handicap 5 years ago.playing 3 times a week at the moment and have seen a drastic improvement. i was also accompanied today with a skycaddie i purchased in the sales and would say its worth a shot or two

At least you know where your priorities lie. If it can be done once it can be done again.

    Nice golfing.

Jesus, don't think I would have gone home, then again that's why I'm single:D

Nah you did the right thing, especially if it was an important appointment.
I defo would have rang her and tried to explain that this was a once in a lifetime round though and see what she said;)

If you hadn't gone home you could have sabotaged forever the delicate domestic economy and culture that your golfing life depends on. Never incur the wrath of the Visa-granter!!! Do however make sure to subtly inform her of your colossal sacrifice to trade in for brownie points.

I think you did the right thing, unless your wife plays golf then she wouldn't really understand what its like to have one of those rounds.

    have a handicap of 18
You are fu*king joking:eek:, on course for a 67 (is par 72?) -5 and playing off 18, I'd have to come up with a new name for it as bandit doesn't even come close.;)

Well played by the way, single myself so would have gone on, but can understand that you could do without the ear ache.:D

Think you did the right thing. Most women would never understand. It must have been torture tearing yourself away from the course though.
Still, on the plus side, you still have your balls where nature intended them and you will live to golf another day as i assume you havent been banned for life which is what would have happened if you were late.:D
