Do any of you ever listen to scottish mp George Galloway on talksport, fri & sat nites.

His broadcasting style is not very "balanced" is it?.........if he agrees with someone or if they're sucking up to him, he leaves them on for ages, but if their viewpoint differs from his he cuts them short and goes on to the next caller.

He also seems to be on some kind of socialist crusade ranting on about the tyranny of the capalist system and forever taking a swipe at the US foreign policy when all the time avoiding questions about his meeting with Saddam Hussein.

I don't know but its like he got some kind of hidden agenda......

If I even heard that persons name in connection to ANY radio programme,my immediate response would be to push the off button.

Attention whores and people slavishhly pushing a certain agenda get a quick scuppering from the Flutter.

Reality show losers/winners/hosts/commentators/ viewers/listeners get even less ear time from the Flutt.

Get the fcuk out of my living space you whankers!!!!

ive listened to some of his interviews on youtube and i find him entertaining, he seems intelligent but when things arent going his way he'll go off on a rant and then pull the plug

listen to him as well, have to agree with ya OP, does seem he is only interested in his own view at times, if on a topic or arguement he doesn't agree with, the only way you'll stay on the air is if you have a very good presntation of your view or opinion, and know your stuff on the topic

I love the way this thread has appeared, right at the same time that Celebrity Big Brother has reared it ugly head again.

Saucer of Milk, Mr. Galloway? :D

isn't that also a good point, he's a clown but it is his show, i find it great when he's under pressure or when he gets on someone's case.

My biggest problem with the show, and talksport, is all the calls sucking up, hiya wrighty legend, let me just say how much i love the show, and i swear its the same callers all the time :mad::mad:

not sure about ian wright, havn't heard his slot, but its certainly the case the galloway, there is callers who ring most weeks, theres the intelegent ones who galloway welcomes with open arms almost, one or who just want to argue with him, galloway gives them their weekly few seconds before cutting them off, then the old dears talking about their cat, its the smae with ian collins in the week, and james whale before him

He even gives his regular sucker-uppers shadow cabinet posts like Chancellor of the Exchequer and Minister for Transport. He's waiting for the revolution to come so he can give all his friend's Government Ministries!biggrin.gifeek.gif

Talksport is a bit dull ATM but it isn't completely their fault. Ever since Mike Dickin died they just have bland presenters. Then Whale was fired so it has gone to the ****ters.

P.S Is Ian Collins still at Talksport?

I hate when Collins used to go on constantly about how he wasn't a Tory because he lived in the slums of Croydon. Croydon is like the Kildare of England. It's a nice place in that sense.

    Galloway is an arse.

I like George. He's very well spoken, and his show is interesting.

His diction might be clear, he believes in what he says, but he speaks pure horse manure.

Don't agree with his politics ...but i did admire the way he defended himself in the US congress, he showed alot of backbone.

Its just a pity his headstrong opinions and big fat ego gets in the way of him delivering a balanced talk show.
