    Éabha is Ava. Sounds the same just spelled different.
    Hope this helps.

    little Bear is right.
    Éabha is Eve (Eva)
    the biblical Eve

    Aoife is an ancient Irish name. Meaning "bright". Somepeople use it to translate Eve but there is no connection.

    Eve = Aoibh
    Eva = Aoibhe
    Ava = Éabha

    Closest to Evie in since would be Aoibheann (ee-veen?)

    No, Aoibhe is pronounced Ay-va, not Ee-va

    In Irish pronunciation, 'aoi' is pronounced 'ee' - aoibhinn, aoileach, aois, An Laoi etc. These words are all pronounced with an 'ee' sound.
