yeah it happens and prob 2 reasons.

1 - you do it differently - show or tell her how you do it

OP I think your first response on this thread might have hit the nail on the head also. If you are thinking too much about the fact that its not happened on previous times, then you are putting yourself under more pressure and in turn makes it harder for you to "finish"! OP, I have always had this problem too, both with handjobs and blowjobs. They are very pleasurable and enjoyable as foreplay, but they just don't make me orgasm, no matter what technique my partner uses or how long she spends. I have no trouble with masturbation, but when with a girl I can only reliably come during vaginal or anal sex. Sometimes I can come when a girl takes my penis between her breasts and squeezes them together while I thrust, but this is not 100% reliable, and she needs to have C-cup or larger breasts to make this possible.

So I sympathize, since it would be great to be able to come more easily from oral sex or handjobs. But I don't have a solution.

OK I may get slated for this, but a straw poll of blokes I know suggests that a lot of women are simply not very good at this. I have to say I agree and in my experience most need some guidance as for what works with me. It's not simply a case of rub and tug, though a staggering amount think it is.

In much the same way that many women complain that men are not very good at sorting them out, or need instruction. What may have worked for other men in her life, simply doesn't work for you.

If you can get yourself off, then it's her technique that needs sorting out. I reckon it's as simple as that. I'd say the same to a woman asking the same question.

Basically you have to show her. Try to be subtle. Show her what you would prefer, though she may just ignore this and continue on the way she always has, at which point tell her. Now she may get pee'd off at this, but if she was getting nothing from you I'd expect her to tell you, so what's good for the gander is good for the goose.

This is an issue for both genders and both genders need to listen watch and learn from each other.

Gonna go with Toots85 on this one, you know your body best. So why not let her sit back, relax and watch how you do it yourself all the way to climax.
