if its like A4 sized type shots you want to do, look at the canon range. the ones with the series 8 inks

there quite cheap, and great quality

    yea or pcworld or something

i have a slightly older one i use for printing cds, its an ip6600

if you get something like that you will be able to do good A4 prints

I'd save your money and get them printed at a photolab. there are loads of online ones you can upload your photos to, like www.photobox.ie, www.pix.ie, etc and they will be far better quality prints than any home printer.

if you need a printer for other purposes also, then grab one by all means, but still get your photos done at a lab.

i am not sure about labs and decent home printers anymore

    there is sooo little difference

well if you use proper ink and decent paper they can actually have a longer projected lifespan that printed with a lot of the labs
