problems with photo calendars from Spectra

    Hi
did anyone else order a photo calendar from spectra and have problems?
I uploaded the images in plenty of time - well before the christmas deadline. Today is the 3rd of Jan and still no-show. These were supposed to be christmas presents so i am well pissed off.

Can't get a response from customer service either - although they say they try to respond in 2 days.
Naturally my credit card has been debited in full.

Any one had this problem before. Surely I have a case for getting my money back even if the calendars turn up now?
Any recommendations of other photo sites so I dont' have the problem again would be great too.

    Thanks
    Fiona in Cork

When did you put in the photos?

Is there any chance it could have gotten caught up in the post?

I'm not sure about getting money back, unless they promised it for before christmas.

Try Photobox.ie, though, I've been left waiting for prints of them too.

Nightmare with them before xmas, ordered fotos for collection from dun leary and 6 days later no sign. had to call some company down the country who they outsource to and they resent them to my house.

    very shabby all round imo

Had the misfortune to deal with this lot before Christmas. Like Fiona in Cork I ordered well in advance of the deadline - placed order December 3rd. Was all smug and self-satisfied having one Christmas pressie out of the way already.... ha, little did I know!

Was not a happy camper from day one as the calendar I ordered was about E14 (after special discount coupon) but after I spent hours downloading software, uploading pics and tinkering around so that everything was just so, I got to the delivery options page where I discovered that I would have to pay E15 to have the calendar delivered! In my eyes this is crazy for delivery of a calendar within the Republic. Express mail (a courier service supposed to ensure delivery within one working day) was the only delivery option available, presumably as the calendar was A3 size. Was annoyed that delivery exceeded the price of the actual product being ordered, especially since I was ordering 3 weeks before Christmas and didn't need the product within 1 working day, but after all that time and effort I was not about to scrap the whole calendar idea, especially as it was going to be a present.

So 9 working days passed by, still no calendar, not even a dispatch email. Sent an email to customer service via their website at this stage - got a dispatch email within hours. So far so good, on December 16th the product was supposedly dispatched. Heard nothing again until a courier finally rang me at 7.30pm the night before Christmas Eve asking for directions to my house - this was another 5 working days after the dispatch email was sent! By this stage I'd had to buy a 2nd present for the person I'd ordered the calendar for as I justifiably thought it wasn't going to come by Christmas.

This crowd are a complete joke - be warned! Easy to see why they've no contact phone number on their site!
