Tipperary's in the south east

    Why have boards got Tipperarys forum in the midwest link when tipperary as i always understood it to be part of the (sunny) south east

    I haven't had the time to read all of the last thread on the topic so I might have missed if the regions are based on the old or new health board regions.In the old system south tipp was part of the south eastern health board.

    Yes i always thought that was a bit odd, we're def in the South east as far as I'm concerned

    I wouldnt expect someone in roscrea to be considered south east ! would you? Where as me on the waterford/cork border would def consider myself south east

    I was thinking the same thing as I checked this part out, "I'm having to go to the MidWest part" I'd think. But as the guy above said, it's where you're living. I'm more in the South East than MidWest.

    Id consider the Leinster counties the "South East". Tipperary is a large county hard to define it geo-spatially. I always thought the Regions would have more sense to be divided by province?
