    Hi all,

Does anyone know where in Dublin has a good range of spraypaint. I have an old racer that badly needs a coat. Also, it is generally recommended to get a someone to do it or is it an easy enough thing to do yourself (and do it well i mean). Also, should i wire-brush it first? I tried with a normal wire-brush and it didnt feel like the right kinda brush.

    Thanks.

Thanks for that Wez, was looking for a simple guide.

All City Records on Crow Street has loads of cans of spraypaint, 4 euro each.

To be honest I think that the cost of painting a bike at home isn't worth the hassle. I'm 60% through it now and think that the cost of home painting isn't worth it. The painting cost at home is going to be about €70 anyway. (primer, top coat and gloss sealer) and the fumes are awful. You can get it done for about €150 is you call a sprayer panel beater.

There's a place on the Greenhills Road - I think it's the first left off the Greenhills Road coming from the roundabout - which will make up any colour you want in an aerosol can.
I have no idea about price but a friend of mine recommends them.
