Hey all, Am having problems installing Fm09. It seems my driver isnt reading the disk at all , just re-opens and says insert disk.

Never had any problems with previous Fm titles or any other game

    pc specs are ...

    Vista Home premium
    3.5GB RAM
    Nvidia 8800gt gfx card
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual core processor 4600+ 2.4ghz

Any help or info to solve this would be great,

    Thanks Anderton23

have a closer look at the disk. the only time I've had problems like this are when i was sold a dodgy disk or else the drive was close to failing.

There are a few solutions you can try.

First things first make sure you have a DVD Rom reader. The game is a DVD disk not cd. I know it sounds retarded, but most people don't realise this.

You could also update your firmware for your drive.

I not fully sure of the solution, but there is a workaround.

    Install Steam:

    http://store.steampowered.com/about/

Then register, when you've done that. Login, and click Activate a product on steam. When you've done that, get your serial number from your Fm2009 manual and enter it in there. And it'll download
