Will they do a cable run for a 2nd cable from a chimney mounted dish that already has a quad??

That wouldn't take too long surely? presumably the box comes with a quad for those going from an ordinary sky box straight to hd?

Does the box come with a hdmi cable?

Yes, they'll run the 2nd cable from dish, replacing LNB if it's a single. Ask for the new quad if they don't offer it to you.

Sky+HD box comes with quad LNB and HDMI cable.

Ah cool - so they will have ladders etc!

I actually have sky plus with 2 cables but I want them to bring the 4th cable to another room where the 3rd cable is already going and install the hd box there.
They would be dumping the old 4th cable and running a new length to that room-it wouldnt be a long run as it's an upstairs window they are going in.

That and hooking the 3 old and one new into the new Quad is a reasonable ask then ? Presumably my existing sky card does not have to be changed?

The HD box has to have 2 cables for it to work properly...so your sky+ will take up 2 and the HD will take up 2 thats your quad used up unless your goin to get an octo lnb which can hold 8

    Your existing card should suffice.

keep in mind you wont be able to record anything on to your existing sky + box

    unless you have Multiroom!

( and you will not be able to watch any existing recordings either)

I suspect they won't go near a chimney. "Special Heights" team required.
