    was wondering if landlord has to have some kind of insurance for tenants property when renting the place. basically what happened is, we got loads of stuf stolen from our apt in town(dublin) and when i asked the landlord she basically said tough crap dont get robed next time.
    sorry if not posting in the rite place!!!

    There is no obligation to insure someone else's property.

    Indeed it is actually legally impossible for someone else to insure your property unless they have an "insurable interest" in the property.

    In general it means you can not insure the property of another.
